International Ice Cream Consortium: Winners of the 2017 Ice Cream Awards elected

On the occasion of its annual conference held in Aarhus and Copenhagen (Denmark) on 9th-14th October, the International Ice Cream Consortium elected the 2017 winners in 5 ice cream categories. The members of the International Ice Cream Consortium nominated their best and most innovative new ice creams.  Samples were tasted by a panel of judges and voted for according to specific criteria like sensory assessment, visual appearance and concept appeal. The multinational panel of judges included CEOs, Marketing & Technical Directors as well as R&D managers representing leading ice cream manufacturers from around the world. The award category ‘Ice Cream Maker of the Year‘ was won by SAMMONTANA (Italy). This award honours SAMMONTANA for its extraordinary and most inspirational achievements in 2017. >> more information
