The Ice Cream Consortium was formed in 1986 by General Foods USA, owners at the time of Kibon Ice Cream of Brazil, as a conference of independent Ice Cream Manufacturers from around the world.
The purpose was, and remains, to share technical and market developments for IP, new innovations and products, general marketing knowledge and intelligence which may be beneficial to the member companies.
